Testimonials

As an experienced runner, I know not to run a race in a brand new type of shoe. But since the first steps in the Healus running shoe, I knew: "This is the shoe for me and I will race in it". The shoe gives me a sense of speed and it saves energy. I can hardly wait for another pair.
Winning a Half Marathon in the over 50 category recently, so soon after knee surgery, in a record time of 1h 18.53 min. was particularly pleasing and in no small measure due to the benefits of the Healus shoes. These enabled me to get back to serious training quickly. I decided to use them in this race and my confidence was rewarded.

When running in Healus shoes, I don't get the muscle soreness and tightness in the calf and achilles tendon, which I have experienced when running in conventional running shoes. Therefore, I can now train harder and without fear of injury.

I have been wearing Healus shoes every day, using them for easy runs as well as long runs and speed work and find they perform to the highest standard. (Malcolm is author of "Master the Art of Running" - see www.theartofrunning.com)

With the Healus shoes, I immediately felt my running was more natural and effortless. I really enjoy jogging in these shoes.

Last weekend, I raced in the Dutch 3000 meters championships and won the title in my category. Due to the Healus shoes, I can train more and without injuries and was able to prepare well for this championship.
For the first time in many years, I have managed to train regularly and at a high pace for over 18 months (from early 2008) without so much as suffering the slightest discomfort or injury. The Healus shoe has made the crucial difference in my winning again the Dutch 3000 m Championships in my age class in 2009.

I have been using the Healus trainers since December 2007 and have already noticed they are relieving achilles problems, helping me to recover without stiffness after training and possibly even making me faster. My times are getting quicker, but I think that's a combination of my improved fitness and the running position the shoes put me in.
