ABOUT US
At Healus we focus on the development of new sole structures and materials for running shoes to make running at any level more enjoyable and to reduce the risk of injuries. To achieve this, we can call on the expertise of physiotherapists, podiatrists and athletes within our team and from outside.
The inventor and Managing Director of Healus Technology®, Adri Hartveld, is a chartered physiotherapist with 25 years of experience. He is a recognised international distance runner and has dedicated many years to the in depth study and analysis of running performance and injuries. This has culminated in the invention of the heelless running shoe with sole force distribution™, sense enhancement™, slant sole™ and HelixVA™.
Our Marketing Consultant, Franz Opitz, brings over 25 years of experience in international brand marketing to Healus®. He has worked and led teams at the sharp end in very competitive industries, speaks three languages fluently as well as being an enthusiastic all round sportsman.
